Männlichen
The Royal Walk takes you from the mountain station to the summit of the Männlichen, and to the viewing platform shaped like a crown. The commanding view from here on Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau is … simply royal!
Jungfrau — Top of Europe
At 3’454 m above sea level the mountain train station on the Jungfraujoch is Europe’s loftiest railway station. This route passes through a seven-kilometer tunnel through the Eiger and the Mönch. Once you reach your destination, you will find yourself in the midst of a wonderland of ice, snow and rock.
The beautiful Valley of Lauterbrunnen and the Trümmelbachfalls
The Trümmelbach Waterfalls are part of the 72 waterfalls of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, which also include the impressive Staubbach Waterfall. A mostly level walk leads from Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg right past the water gushing down from vertical rock faces, some of which are several hundred meters high. The Trümmelbach drains the huge glacier walls of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and transports up to 20’000 litres per second and 20’000 tonnes of debris per year from its catchment area. The only glacier waterfalls in Europe that are located inside the mountain and are still accessible.
Mürren — Schilthorn in summer
From the Grütschalp cable car station, a broad gravel path leads in a steady slope to the village of Mürren, passing the restaurant of Winteregg with beautiful views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountain chain and the long-drawn-out settlement of Wengen. From Mürren you can take the cable car to Schilthorn – Piz Gloria and enjoy the most impressive 360° panorama of the Alps.
Isenfluh and Sulwald
Faboulous views off the beaten track The small, unspoilt village lies at 1024 metres above sea level, high above the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Insiders claim that the view of the Jungfrau is the most beautiful here.
Jungfrau Ski Region

Over 50 kilometers of sledging runs : no matter what appeals to sledging fans, they will find all their tastes catered for in the Jungfrau Region. Those who enjoy tactical manoeuvres take the fox run next to the Lauberhorn route to Wengen. Enthusiasts who appreciate sledging diversity will find it in Mürren and on Männlichen. Those with stamina will hike from Grindelwald-First to Faulhorn and will be rewarded with the longest descent in the world. Winter Hiking
Hiking in winter has a particular appeal. On more than 100 kilometres of perfectly prepared winter hiking trails, all you can hear is the scrunch of your shoes. It is a lot more peaceful to stomp along the soft whiteness wearing snowshoes. Off the beaten track of the hustle and bustle of the pistes, snow hikes between Mürren, Männlichen and Grindelwald are immersed in enchanting winter landscapes surrounded by solemn silence. Perfect place to learn Skiing
Always wanted to try out skiing but worried about steep slopes in the mountains. Wengen has the ideal practice area for snow sport beginners in the heart of the village with a World Cup tradition.
